A SPECIAL WORD TO MOTHERS
I want to share some encouragement today with you Strong Disciple mothers out there. Men, would you please share this with your wife? Also know, this is as important for you to understand as it is for your wife.
I hope and pray this will minister to your heart, and encourage you in your High Holy calling of Motherhood. There is absolutely no one who can replace a godly mother, or the vital role she plays in her children’s lives.
As I observe the wicked, perverse culture of our day, the tyrannical pressures of the feminists, the media, the leftist, academic structures, and this ungodly government that raises its hand against the family every chance it gets, I’m reminded of one particular, heroic mother of faith. This mother courageously defied the brutal tyrant of her age, standing up against the immense pressures of an entire nation. This godless ruler demanded that his people, the Egyptians, slaughter thousands of little Jewish baby boys by snatching them from their Jewish mothers and throwing them into the river to drown. This courageous mother, though a lowly slave herself, dared to defy that wicked, tyrannical government. She hid her beautiful little boy for 3 months, trusting somehow, God would miraculously intervene. Her courageous, defiant faith saved her baby boy, as God miraculously protected her little Moses, gave her the chance to nurture and raise him for a period of time and used him in an astounding way to save all of Israel. This mother’s courageous commitment to God made all the difference! Her refusal to comply with the culture, saved not only her child, but an entire nation.
Mothers today are facing the same demonic forces trying to destroy their lives and the lives of their children. As a result, millions of mothers in America and around the world choose every year to murder their own children by abortion. Millions of mothers sacrifice their children on the idolatrous altar of materialism, self-actualization, and their own selfish desires, abandoning their God given role and responsibilities in their children’s lives. Millions of children’s lives are being destroyed because they lack a godly mothers daily devotion, training and influence in their day-to-day lives. They’re being raised by strangers, TV, social media, smartphones and tablets. Our society is falling apart.
You Strong Disciple moms are a heroic breed apart. You stand like Jochabed of old, daring to defy the demonic, cultural forces waged against you, devoting yourselves to your home and your children’s precious lives. Your refusal to comply with the wicked ways of this culture will save your children’s lives and it greatly honors God.
I want to remind you of these essential truths!
Mothering is not glorified babysitting! Godly mothering is molding, shaping, and training the precious lives given to you by God for future service of the God of heaven!
The home is not a prison mothers are confined to, but a sacred, Holy Place of God where mothers find their greatest fulfillment. There they are used to mold and build the soul and life of the precious children entrusted to them by God!
I wrote this poem in honor of each of you mothers.
A Mother Like You
I wish every child a mother like you
Devoted, loving and kind like you
So Christ-loving, God-honoring, faithful and true
So sacrificial, hard working, frugal and wise
Your courage and strength, your genuine ways
Who honors her husband, you strive every day
Who does not conform to these woke worldly ways
Who gives of her best, her child to prepare
Who patiently teaches, guides, and corrects
Done with great care, God’s ways you impart
Content with her lot, no matter what comes
Smiles at the day, shows others Christ’s ways
You’re one of a kind, I praise God for you
I wish every child a mother like you.
May God help you grasp how important and significant you are in your children’s life. You’re making an indelible, eternal impact on their precious lives.
This message will be a great inspiration to you.
