HE MAY COME SOON
Isaiah 40:9-10 NLT
Messenger of good news, shout to Zion from the mountaintops! Shout louder to Jerusalem—do not be afraid. Tell the town of Judah, “Your God is coming!” Yes, the Sovereign Lord is coming in all His glorious power. He will rule them with awesome strength.
As we watch the events unfolding in Israel right before our eyes, many are wondering, “Could this be the time our Lord fulfills this promise?”
You may be persuaded at the moment to think the world is on Israel’s side, as you observe the momentary outpouring of affirmation, support and bold declarations from so many traitorous politicians, mendacious world leaders, and those in the corrupt media. Do not be duped or deceived by their cheap words, for even now, and in the weeks and months ahead, they will show their true colors, as they have in the past, as ardent apologists, friends and supporters of Islam, the Palestinian Authority, Hamas “freedom-fighters” and the nefarious Palestinian cause. The stated purpose of all these groups is the total destruction of Israel and every living Jew.
Israel has never been more vulnerable. A billion Islamists hate their guts as taught by their “holy book”! They utterly despise them, wanting them wiped from the face of the earth. This is why hundreds of thousands of them were dancing in the streets at beheaded babies, and slaughtered Jews! College campuses across America are inflamed with antisemitism, fervently defending Islam and Islamist’s genocidal agenda. Israel is surrounded by nations, with governments and populations who want them all dead, wiped from the earth. Nations, who enthusiastically support Hamas, the Palestinian Authority and the Palestinians. In fact, many in our US government feel the exact same way about Israel, though often disguised by their empty rhetoric, their deeds and policies prove their true allegiances.
We have at present the most incompetent, corrupt, destructive leader in the history of our nation. The world knows it, the Islamists know it, world leaders know it. If ever there was an opportune time for these evildoers to coalesce, come together to attack the nation of Israel, it could easily be now.
This leader and his administration have done all they can to enable Iran, giving them billions of dollars, which in turn they use to train, equip, and fund Islamic terrorists and organizations. Their primary goal is to destroy Israel, to wipe them from the face of the earth. Our corrupt leader has given hundreds of millions to the Palestinian Authority. He and his administration left billions of dollars of weapons, ammunition and military equipment as a gift to the Islamic Taliban, as well as giving them billions of dollars. There is no mistaking the wicked, evil intent of this present administration, as they bend over backwards in supporting Israel’s enemies, while simultaneously attacking and persecuting conservative Christians and Christianity here in America.
Why do I share all of this? Is it to be political? Absolutely not. It is to help you grasp the gravity of the situation. How late the hour really is! How very near our Lord’s arrival might actually be!
I write these things that you might lift up your eyes and see your redemption is very close. For the devout, God fearing Christian and the devout, God fearing Jew, this is our great hope. That Messiah will come as He promised, to set up His Kingdom-reign upon the earth, saving Israel, saving us, from all our wicked enemies!
Our God is coming!! Shout it to your soul! Shout it to your devout friends! Our God is coming!
I close with this powerful passage of Scripture. As a young Christian, these verses were put to a song many of us used to sing. It was and is one of my all time favorites! I still sing it today! What awesome truth it reveals!
Revelation 19:11-16 NASB
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse, and He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. And His eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many crowns, and He has a name written upon Him which no one knows except Himself. And He’s clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His Name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. And from His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may smite the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron, and He treads the winepress of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on his robe and on His thigh he has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
