GOD KNOWS
I have come to realize over the years of my life, no matter how well-intentioned people may be, they can never really, fully know the lives we live.
They can never truly grasp the nuances or complexities of our personal realities. They can never truly, fully know our hearts.
Though others may misjudge your motives, God knows the true intentions of your heart. God knows the weighty, emotional burdens you carry. When others expect more than you’re able to give, God knows the infirmities and pain you’re enduring and the limitations they produce. God knows the adversities and injustices you’re walking through. When others blame you for things you actually had no control over, God knows and understands the realities of your situation. When others reprove you for things they don’t begin to understand correctly, God knows! He never makes that mistake with you.
God knows your secret challenges. God knows your daunting circumstances. God knows the injustices you suffer. God knows the wrongs you endure. God knows the doubts you struggle through. When others accuse you of not trying hard enough, God knows how hard you’re really trying. God knows the sacrifices you’ve made, the prices you’ve paid, to follow and honor Him.
God knows the unique parenting challenges you face. God knows the unique marital issues that may leave you vexed and perplexed. God knows the reasons for the financial struggles you’re dealing with. God knows you face many things in your life that are not your fault. Others may blame you, but God knows the truth about your situation.
God knows and understands your fears. God knows and understands your concerns. God knows and understands the crosses you must bear. God knows the unique things He calls you to do, even though others may never understand. God knows your face with a smile, often hides the great pains and traumas of life, as you walk by faith in Christ.
God knows the anguish and deep sorrows of your soul. God knows the great losses you’ve endured. God knows your unrealized dreams and desires. God knows your great disappointments. God knows and understands your profound discouragements.
God knows the torment of your righteous soul as you live in this corrupt, godless, wicked, world. God knows your longings for a righteous world. God knows the truth about you when others have been misled about you.
God knows your weak human frailty. God knows you’re made of dust. God knows you inside and out. God knows! God knows! God knows!
This has been one of the greatest comforts, and sustaining realities of my life. This knowledge brings great peace and solace to my soul as I walk through this world. God knows me. God knows the truth. In the end and for all eternity that’s what really matters most of all! God knew it all, no matter what others said or believed.
