Greetings Strong Disciples
I want to wish each of you a wonderful Thanksgiving. God has been so good, so faithful to each of us, in countless ways. We are extremely fortunate to know the Lord, to have and experience a personal relationship with the Living God, our Savior and Great Provider. I thank God for each of you, and the tremendous support you’ve given to me to do this vital ministry work through Strong Disciple. I hope you’re encouraged by these two testimony stories sent to me in the last couple of weeks. I believe the song I included at the end of the article will also be a great blessing to you. I am once again humbled and honored to be used by God in the lives of others. To God be all the glory for the things He has done.

My wife and I are flying out next Friday to teach a parenting seminar for a couple churches in another state, so we’re busy going over our content and refining it. In that regard, thank you for the profound influence you have had on our parenting and especially my role as a Husband and Father. Our passion for helping other parents started way back in the early years at your church when my wife and I interacted with your kids. They were so kind and respectful, and able to hold a conversation with an adult. They were obedient and joyful and gave us an example we had not experienced before. It was then that we decided, if that is possible, we want to raise our family like that. I still remember the Getting Your Family To Mars content from the conference you spoke at. I remember the principles you taught and we based our parenting plan on those character qualities we wanted to develop in our kids. Our kids are not perfect, but by God’s grace and by the example we could pattern off of, they are all following the Lord and all are involved in leading and discipling others. We are so blessed. It is ALWAYS great to get your regular, weekly Thoughts Provoking articles! I look forward to them each week. Thank you very much for the work in preparing these and getting them out so faithfully. I have always loved your zeal, courage and directness you communicate in your writing. You don’t hold back in calling out the evil in our time and our mission in this world. You are so transparent about your life, struggles and suffering. It is ALWAYS very encouraging! Thank you! I actually had the privilege of meeting you when you were in town for a “raising your kids” seminar at our Church many years ago.
