Fathers, I praise God for the men that you are. What a world it would be if every child had a father like you.
I wrote this poem in honor of you. I hope you know how incredibly blessed your children are to have you as their Dad!
A Father Like You
I wish every child a father like you
Devoted, committed, so righteous like you
So Christ-loving, God-honoring, faithful, and true
So sacrificial, hard-working, generous, and wise
Your courage and strength, your genuine ways
Who lays down his life, you strive every day
Who does not conform to these woke worldly ways
Who gives of his best, his child to prepare
Who patiently teaches, guides, and corrects
Done with great care, God’s ways you impart
You fight for your faith, no matter how hard
A light in this world, shows others Christ’s ways
You’re brave and tenacious, loving and kind
A man of integrity, leading the way
You’re one of the few, I praise God for you
I wish every child a father like you!
