(NIV) All of us have watched on helplessly during the last 4 years as the wicked in the media, the government, and many in the public at large have done everything they possibly can to subvert and destroy a duly elected president and his administration. They have lied, deceived, slandered, defamed, manipulated the legal process, subverted the rule of law, and now, quite honestly, they have worked and schemed to manipulate the election. These are very wicked people who think nothing of killing babies, destroying lives with their lies, and oppressing you in every way they can with their edicts, their indoctrination campaigns embedded in schools and universities, and spreading lies and propaganda through a media that is corrupt, immoral and completely lacking in integrity. Together they call what is immoral and wrong, moral and right! They call that which is right and moral, immoral, and wrong! They are completely irredeemable. In the future, the judgment of God will fall on them with extreme prejudice. BUT, in the meantime, what are the righteous to do? TAKE BACK YOUR LIVES IN EVERY WAY YOU POSSIBLY CAN AND SAVE YOURSELVES AND YOUR FAMILY! When I began to follow Jesus Christ in December of 1975, I began to devour the Bible. I found in it the REAL truth about the world I live in. I began to understand how corrupt it was in every way. The scales fell off my eyes, and I could see that in every way possible this world and most of its systems try to steal, destroy, and kill our lives. I could see clearly for the first time, at 19 years old, that the modern public school system was not just teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic, they were deliberately indoctrinating students into an anti-God world view by authoritatively teaching evolution. They were undermining God’s design in the family by espousing feminism. They were undermining morality through their sex education classes. The very fact that I spent so much time hanging around what the Bible would describe as fools and foolish kids in the public school that by law parents must send their child to, and are taxed by force of law to pay for, undermined and sabotaged the very things my parents tried to teach me at home about God, truth, and morality! I began to see how unhealthy foods and lifestyles were marketed to us on TV, the way grocery stores are arranged to promote impulse buying and processed foods, and now in the last 40 years, how it has become normal to feed your family fast food from a restaurant. Many moms today hardly cook at all and many don’t even know how to. The consequences of this, of gas stations that are junk food and junk drink stops, and all the chips, and processed food, has helped create an epidemic of fat, unhealthy, sickly people. Costing billions of dollars a year spent on doctor bills, medications, and has greatly diminished people’s quality of life and their pocketbooks. I saw just as Proverbs says, “the wall of the sluggard is broken down.” In other words, our physical laziness, our lack of discipline, exercise, and physical activity is robbing us of vigorous life and steals our health and vitality. It impoverishes us in so many ways! America, at this time, is the single most materialistic culture that has ever existed. Americans are addicted to stuff. Many carry huge credit card debt, and other types of debt robbing them of more life, and enslaving them to the lenders and corporations who are getting rich off Americans’ idolatrous greed for more stuff, nicer stuff, newer stuff, bigger stuff! As the Bible says, “The borrower becomes the lender’s slave.” Our government taxes almost every single thing that moves, breathes, and exists. Their appetite for your money is insatiable! They put a fee, which is another form of tax, on everything they possibly can. And now they are telling us to wear a mask everywhere and telling us to limit how many people to have in our own homes. These people have no shame. They are tyrannical. I want to urge you to take back your life and your family’s lives! Don’t let them steal or destroy your lives anymore. I offer you some real-world solutions to live as free as you possibly can in a world that is still sinful, corrupt, and fallen. 1. If it is at all possible for you to do so, homeschool your children. The rewards are immeasurable, and the richness you will enjoy as a family is tremendous. It is one of the greatest ways to take back your family and fight back against the corrupt system. It also gives your child a great education. Fortunately, it is now legal to homeschool in the United States. Nehemiah 4:14 (NLT) Then as I looked over the situation, I called together the leaders and the people and said to them,” Don’t be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your friends, your families, and your homes!“ 2. Find every legal way possible to pay as little taxes as you can. Never forget this: The less you spend the less they take! Everything you buy is subject to sales tax. You pay less sales tax on a $10 item than on a $100 item. When possible, buying used off Craigslist allows you to escape all sales tax. Generally speaking, the less you pay for a house, the less property tax you pay every month for the next 30 years you own that house. All of us are going to get old and there will come a time when we simply will not have the strength nor energy to work a full-time job. Wisely prepare for that time of lean years, NOW! Invest as much as you possibly can every month in a 401k plan at your company or through an IRA. This keeps the government from taxing your investment now, and it can grow tax-free, which greatly increases your investment power and value. Most of you will earn far less in your older years than you do now, and therefore you will be in a potentially lower tax bracket once you begin taking money out of your 401k to live on. Driving a used car that gets better miles per gallon means you pay less to drive, but it also means you pay less gas tax because you use less gas. In MN the combined state, local and federal tax for every gallon of gas you buy is 47 cents!!! Buying a used car 10 years or older in my state means a flat $10 fee instead of sales tax, and it also costs less every year when you renew your license tabs. Again, I find every possible legal way to give this government as little of the money God gave to me as possible. Having children also gives you far more tax deductions, meaning the government gets less of your money, and you have the joy of raising and training more disciples for Jesus Christ! 3. Under the current mask mandate overreach of the MN Governor, I wear a mask as absolutely little as I possibly can. I went into a gas station the other morning to get a coffee to meet someone. I did not wear a mask. There was only one other older guy in the store, and he was wearing a mask. He looked at me shaking his head as we went to check out. I let him go first, then we began to walk out at the same time. He stopped dead in his tracks. I stopped dead in mine, and said, “Sir, feel free to go out first, I wouldn’t want to poison you.” To which the clerk at the counter began to laugh hysterically. At another station a person mentioned I was not wearing a mask, I said, “Oh, I have a condition.” They asked, “What condition is that?” I said, “Constitutionalism.” They looked perplexed, and did not know what to say! All fun aside. I wear it only when I go into Costco, and only spend approx. 12 minutes in the store, and when I go into a few other stores. They guard the door and won’t let me in otherwise. I realize many of you are forced to wear yours all day long at work. Here is one solution a good friend found that was very helpful to him. It is called the clarity mask. https://www.amazon.com/ 4. SHUT OFF THE NOISE, AT LEAST TURN IT WAY DOWN! Ignore the media, liars, tyrants, and all the other voices screaming out at you on TV, your Smartphone, FB, Twitter, news sites, radio, etc. This may seem counterintuitive to you. It is fine to keep informed but do so wisely. I see some people who are getting consumed every day with all the noise, the confusion, the angst that passes to you from the talk radio host, or the news anchor. If you are not very careful, it will eat you alive. It will crawl up inside your head and live there. I cannot stop Google’s corruption, or Facebook’s, or Twitter’s, or for that matter Pelosi’s, Schumer’s, or if it is officially certified, Biden and his administration. I can vote, I did vote. I can pray, and pray I do, every single day! But just as I refused to let Obama steal my life and sanity, I will not let these similar tyrants steal my life and sanity! Focus your energy on building something positive, eternal, and meaningful in your family and with your life. Do not let these wicked fools, thieves, and tyrants or their insane ramblings rob you of your energy for good. Just as Nehemiah did not let the threats and accusations of Sanballat and Tobia dissuade him from building God’s wall! He stated “I am doing a great work! I cannot come and meet you.” Read Nehemiah 6:1-9 NLT. In other words, I don’t have time for you fools and morons! OVERCOME THEIR EVIL BY DOING GOOD WITH YOUR LIFE AND IN YOUR LIFE. Commit yourself to do good work in your family, in your sphere of life, and your sphere of relationships. Build for eternity in every way you can. Here is one practical idea for doing good. God clearly states that he blesses our generosity. Many of you have a brother or sister in Christ who is struggling financially because of government Covid restrictions. Some are suffering greatly. Help them out! Give them some of your money if you are able. I have done this more than once and was so grateful I could help. One reason I strive to live frugally and save as much as I can is so I have greater freedom to give to others. I always prioritize family first, then a brother or sister in Christ, then a non-Christian I may know. I have a very dear man from South America who works on my cars at his shop. The government’s Covid edicts hurt his business tremendously. I found out from a family member that he was hurting. I went and got $500 cash, put it in an envelope, and drove it over to his shop. I took him upstairs to his office so it could be private and told him I heard things had been very tough and wanted to give him a money gift so he could feed his family. He was overcome with gratitude, hugged me, and said, “I love you, Mark.” I was letting my light shine for Jesus, as he knows I am a Christian. 5. Take charge of your health. Change your diet. Exercise and strength train every day in some way. Set a consistent sleep schedule and stick to it. Stretch every day. Find ways to help your children be active as well. You will notice over time a significant difference in your life and your vigor. You will also avoid many extremely painful, difficult, and debilitating diseases now and as you age! 6. For the sake of your mental and emotional health, get spiritually fit, and maintain your spiritual fitness! Honor God and He will honor you. Spend time reading your Bible and thinking about God’s truth, God’s promises, and God himself. Make the time to pray every day, to thank and praise God. Pour out your heart, your worries, your concerns, your feelings, and your burdens to the Lord. Talk to God about everything in your life! Ask God specifically for everything you need. You will be amazed at what God will do, what He will provide, and the strength He gives to you. I promise you, you will not be able to sustain your emotional and mental strength and stability if you don’t do these things! Prayer is incredibly empowering and life-sustaining. My secret to life is that I rebelled against this world and its systems in every possible way I could and lived for God, and by God’s life-giving principles and commands. I WILL NOT CONFORM TO THIS WORLD!! Roman 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world!! (NASB) 1 John 2:15-17 Stop loving this evil world and all that it offers you, for when you love the world, you show that you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only the lust for physical pleasure, the lust for everything we see, and pride in our possessions. These are not from the Father. They are from this evil world. And this world is fading away along with everything it craves. But the one who does what pleases God will live forever! |
